Everyone! This little boy is libel to be an amazing athlete one day. He may not be an athlete for a team in a notable American sport such as football, baseball, etc., but he will be a great athlete in whatever he does.
This guy beat most runners at the race. I believe I caught the time he ran under the finishing line as 30:15 (or there abouts). His form was awesome and he was very fast. Congrats to him! chuckwaters83 on Flickr: Posted a Photo

There were a lot of kids out running the Watermelon Run. This was another cute one. She is making the weirdest face.
A note on some of these kids. They are fast. If you're a runner and you do it for fun do not be surprised if one of these kids beats you in a race! chuckwaters83 on Flickr: Posted a Photo 
Rick is making a great come back after having several injuries. He was happy with his time even though he had a slip and fall on a boardwalk near the back of the course. He ended up taking home a top three spot in his age group. chuckwaters83 on Flickr: Posted a Photo 
He made his dog run the whole way! Actually, that pup looked like it had a blast.
Also, notice that Akio is wearing his Vibrum 5 Fingers. When I inquired about these he told me that they basically were awesome. He has so taken with them that he now has more than just a few pairs. He even has some "formal" ones! chuckwaters83 on Flickr: Posted a Photo

These guys made up the front of the race. I cannot remember if they were right in front or right behind the large section of fast runners that were chasing the leaders.
I'm not sure how many of them kept pace as I waited around for some time at this spot to take more pictures, but the sure blew by awful fast. gatorgalpics posted a video: 
Fanfare and fireworks on the 3rd at the University of Florida. Yesterday's display was held after a slight rain delay. Some showers had moved from the East which delayed the show for about 20 minutes. ~ Crowds celebrate Fourth with fanfare despite rain
